So Much to Appreciate this Thanksgiving
Today is Thanksgiving and I type this while waiting for my parents and my nephew to arrive for turkey dinner. (The whole house is filled with smoke, my eyes burning. My husband is out reffing hockey, and I put the bird in the oven like he told me too, at 425 degrees, but something must be wrong.)
I want to itemize a few of the things I am grateful for, as they relate to this blog, and otherwise. I give thanks for:
- Family and friends, who make every quest, every struggle, everything in life worthwhile.
- Canada – the greatest country in the world, for too many reasons to list here, one of which is a move towards eco-friendly legislation, albeit half-heartedly in many cases (another blog post, for another, less festive day!)
- This planet – may we keep her spinning on her axis for many, many generations to come
- The Internet – for all its miraculous abilities to help us communicate better, and for social media, where we, as consumers, get to rule!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from the Angus-Lee family!
P.S. Turns out my husband actually told me 325 degrees for turkey cooking (and he has the email to prove it), but the bird wasn’t too crispy!
