About Us

Heather and Doug live in an eco-renovated 1950s house in Dundas, Ontario – a sleepy town just on the western edge of Hamilton.

We have taken advantage of the Canadian and Ontario governments’ ecoENERGY renovation grants, and the federal renovation tax credit programs, and in the process upgraded our home from 61 to 80 EnerGuide rating.

Doug’s latest eco-adventure is as a solar consultant, talking to Ontario homeowners about putting solar panels on their rooftops and making money in the process by selling power back to the grid. We ourselves have applied to the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) microfit program.
